The 24-hour after sales service for compressors and turbines is backed up by their specialised workshops in Sydney and Perth and a team of highly experienced field service engineers.

Field Service Capabilities

IPS Australia has one of the most experienced teams of compressor and turbine field service personnel in the country and are able to provide a total solution for the on site overhaul and repair of turbomachinery and other rotating equipment. IPS Australia field service teams are strategically located over three states in Australia enabling them to respond to the needs of the client in the minimum of time.

In addition to the field service engineers they have a number of technicians and project management capabilities that enable them to provide the total solution. IPS Australia field service teams are closely supported by their workshops in Sydney and Perth and also their Product Managers who have an open line of communication to their OEM partners who provide exclusive technical support.

Wind Turbine Service

In 2009, IPS Australia took the decision to extend its capability into the field of wind turbine service and maintenance. After securing its first order, which involves overhaul of gearboxes for Vestas V44 and V47 wind turbines, IPS Australia invited the Danish Wind Power Academy to run a tailor-made wind turbine service and maintenance certification course for our service engineers.

IPS Australia now offers for wind turbines routine maintenance, gearbox overhaul and testing, generator overhaul, emergency breakdown support, upgrades, performance assessment and condition monitoring, and is preparing to extend the training of its engineers to encompass other models and OEMs.

In future, the Company will be looking to expand its offering into full cycle operations and maintenance for wind farms.
